Darlene has always loved animals. When she was a little girl she would find cats in sandboxes at playgrounds and take them home. There was not an animal she didn’t want to have as a pet. Growing up she had fish, birds, hamsters, cats and dogs. She always wanted a pony but her mom didn’t go for that! However she did take horseback riding lessons.

Just a note to anyone considering using Scooters school@ sit and stay. I have never met a better, kinder more professional or helpful trainer in my life. I was having trouble with my service dog and within the matter of an hour we not only determined what the problem was but quickly found means of correction. I have never been happier with a Dog Trainer in My LIFE. I couldn’t survive without my dog and the emotional support he gives me while I battle my disease in hospice but the help I received from Darlene and her assistant was life saving and her follow up has completely alleviated the situation. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Her approach of kindness over discipline really works and if you need a trainer you only need to make one call and this is the place for help or training for your dog.
